Diploma in Interior Design
Length: 1 year (3 terms)
This intensive, career – orientated course is unique to WK School and is created for students seeking a profession in interior design. You will be taught the most up-to-date professional knowledge and skills by practicing interior designers, encouraged and guided on aspects of personal and creative development as well as career development, including starting a business. On graduation you will have a comprehensive portfolio, the confidence to become a successful interior designer and your thinking and creative vision will have expanded – this course is so more than a conventional qualification in Interior Design.

- All aspects of technical drawing for designers, sketching and drawing
- CAD
- Technical features of an interior, fixtures, appliances and integrated technology
- Textiles and window treatments
- Furniture
- Finishing materials
- Ergonomics, anthropometrics, spatial planning.
- Building regulations
- Planning, professional presentation.
- Commercial Interior Design (+ training project)
- Residential interior design (+ Diploma Project)
- Project presentation, exhibition.
